Ramsey Van Horn brings more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry and a passion for working one‑on‑one with individuals to help them achieve their financial goals. Known for his thoughtful, client‑centered approach, he develops strategies tailored to each client’s unique situation. Drawing on his knowledge, leadership, and experience, Ramsey collaborates with RaiStone’s extensive network of professionals and resources to help deliver well‑aligned, effective solutions.
Before entering financial services, Ramsey spent nearly two decades coaching collegiate women’s swimming at Iowa State University, earning four Big 8 Coach of the Year honors. His coaching background continues to shape his approach today—emphasizing personal development, trust, teamwork, and long‑lasting relationships that extend beyond the traditional advisor‑client role.
Ramsey is deeply committed to his community, actively supporting philanthropic organizations, youth leadership initiatives, and his church. He and his wife Linda currently make their home in Sioux Falls, but were longtime residents of Ames where they raised their two children. Ramsey takes great pride in remaining engaged in the central Iowa communities, valuing family, service, and meaningful connections both personally and professionally.
